first_imgATHENS — Panathinaikos sealed its place in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League after the Athens club held on for a 1-1 draw against Atromitos to win the Greek league playoffs.Viktor Klonaridis tapped home a loose ball in the 33rd minute to put Panathinaikos ahead, while Atromitos’ Stefano Napoleoni got the equalizer five minutes from the end of a match played without spectators at Leoforos stadium due to recent crowd violence.PAOK lost 1-0 at Asteras,  with Argentine Mauricio Carrasco scoring the only goal.Panathinaikos struggled early in a season dominated by Olympiakos, but recovered to win the Greek Cup and the six-round playoffs that end on May 18.Other playoff teams will be awarded spots in the Europa League.
