OTTAWA, O.N. – The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency has paused the legislated timeline again for the Pacific Northwest LNG project.In a release Saturday, the Agency said they have requested further information from Pacific Northwest LNG. This request will pause the current process until requested information from the proponent is provided.The Agency asked for further information after Pacific Northwest LNG submitted new information on March 4. According to the CEAA, the new information contains additional information about the project, changes to it’s construction schedule and methods.- Advertisement -The Minister of Environment has also issued a three month extension to the legislated timeline for the project. The government intends to make a final decision on the project within that timeframe, once the requested information has been provided by Pacific Northwest LNG.Here is a link to all the new information provided by the proponent.
