Rep. Blalu Breaks Ground for Radio Station in Karloway

Isaac Roland Blalu has broken ground for the construction of a new community radio station in Karloken city, Karluway District.Addressing citizens at the ground-breaking ceremony, Rep. Blalu indicated that a 1000-watt transmitter, including studio equipment have been provided by his office to set up the station for broadcasting.He said the station will serve as a tool for information dissemination for the people of district #3.The Maryland County District #3 representative, however, praised the city authority of Karloken for the provision of a parcel of land for the construction of the new community radio.Though Hon. Blalu has not come up with a name for the station, he called on Karloken city local authority to provide appropriate nomenclature for the station.The station, when completed, will bring the total number of community radio stations in the county to five.The ground-breaking for the construction of the radio station brought smiles on the faces of many citizens who witnessed the occasion.In response, Karloken city council chairman Cyrus Weyea commended representative Blalu for his kind gesture and pledged the support of the people of district #3 towards the station.At the same time, representative Blalu has informed the people of his district that Lonestar Cell MTN will construct a communication tower for the first time in the district.He said Lone star MTN communication has already reached negotiations with local authorities of the district for the construction of the tower in Karloken city. Rep.
